The applicant must meet the following requirements:
Hold a regular (full-time) bachelor’s degree from a Saudi academic institution or a recognized university in one of the engineering disciplines (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related field) with a cumulative GPA of no less than Very Good (3.75 out of 5) or its equivalent.
For Saudi or GCC nationals, the applicant must have a minimum score of 65 on the Qiyas General Aptitude Test, and the score must not be older than five years.
For international applicants, the applicant must have a minimum score of 130 in the quantitative section of the GRE test, and the score must not be older than two years.
The applicant must have a minimum score of 450 in the TOEFL-PBT or its equivalent. The score must not be older than two years. The College Council may grant an exception to this requirement.
A letter of approval from the applicant’s employer (if currently employed).
Submission of at least two academic recommendation letters from faculty members who have previously taught the applicant.
Submission of a Statement of Purpose.
The department will evaluate and rank applicants who meet the above requirements based on the following criteria:
45% for the cumulative GPA
45% for the General Aptitude Test or GRE score
10% for professional experience
