The Alumni Section of the Islamic University is responsible for promoting and furthering the University’s support in its many endeavors by building and strengthening relationships with alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, friends, businesses, institutions and associations. The mission is to provide its members with the opportunity through their participation to promote those programs and undertakings that will contribute to their personal growth and overall development and to the development and standing of the Islamic University. Equally important is the promotion of social, cultural and business relationships among alumni. Through providing services to the Islamic University, in partnership with others and with the active participation of alumni, through networking, celebrating success and developing successful relationships with alumni, we enhance pride and enhance the reputation of the University.
As alumni have the ambition to continue in leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. The Alumni Section is responsible for facilitating career guidance, job search and relationships with students after graduation. It is also responsible for updating the addresses and contacts of graduates and maintaining a computerized database of their information, preparing for various activities that introduce employers and students to each other, arranging orientation sessions for job searches, participating in annual graduation ceremonies, and providing employers with required information regarding graduates for the purpose of recruitment.
