About Faculty of Engineering

On 28/05/1431H, Royal Decree No. 4465/MB approved the foundation of the Faculty of Engineering to inaugurate its studies in the departments of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering is one of the governmental engineering institutes in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is interested in providing education, scientific research, and local and global community service in various engineering fields. The Faculty of Engineering enrolls students from all around the world with scholarships. The actual studies in the faculty began from the academic year 1433/1435H.

Excellence in engineering education and research with a valuable impact on societies.


Mission:

Offering quality engineering education and research in an environment that stimulates and supports leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, and societal partnership in order to prepare our faculty graduates to become global citizens and valuable assets to their communities.


Faculty Objectives:

1. Education: Offering Quality engineering education according to national and international quality and accreditation standards.

2. Research and Development: Engaging in research and development programs, in a stimulating environment, leading to a positive impact on sustainable development.

3. Skills: Supporting students in developing soft skills, innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and life-long learning habits.

4. Work environment: Providing a work environment that appeals to the diverse community of faculty and students with its cornerstones being: attraction, retention, and professional development.

5. Reputation: Gaining reputation and visibility at national and international levels.

6. Societal Partnership: Establishing strong community partnerships through collaborative programs.

7. Values and Ethics: Ensuring that all faculty employees abide by Islamic values in their professional responsibilities and that all faculty members and students abide by the engineering code of ethics.
