Establishment of the Professional Master's Program in Industrial Laboratories – Physics:

The University Council approved the establishment of the Master of Professional Science in Industrial Laboratories Program within the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science on 16/09/1440 H.

Program Mission:

Providing distinguished education applied to the field of industrial laboratories at the master's level to prepare a graduate capable of competing in the labor market and contribute to community services within sustainable and stimulating scientific environment.

  1. The general requirements for postgraduate studies are outlined in Articles (13-18) of the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities, including their executive rules and the organizational procedures adopted by the Islamic University. Specific conditions for this program include: 1. Candidates must have a minimum bachelor's degree grade of 'Good'. 2. Students must have earned a bachelor's degree in physics, Chemistry, related branches, or an equivalent degree. 3. Successfully complete the compulsory courses. 4. Completion of the credit hours for the elective courses. 5. The program follows the curriculum system, as it requires the completion of forty-three (43) academic units, of which thirty-seven (37) compulsory academic units and six (6) elective academic units, determined based on the available general and specialized fields. Duration of obtaining the scientific degree: Four (4) academic semesters.
