College Agency for Development and Quality

The College Development and Quality Agency is dedicated to overseeing the implementation of the best standards of quality and academic accreditation in the educational process and scientific research, as well as creating an appropriate environment for this through close monitoring, continuous evaluation and development, and necessary improvement processes for all college programs.

The Agency also contributes to preparing developmental and executive plans and ensuring their optimal implementation to enhance and improve all outputs, supporting the achievement of the college’s vision, mission, and objectives.

To raise the level of quality in the teaching and learning process and improve graduates’ competence and knowledge, the Agency maintains continuous coordination with the college departments regarding comprehensive and ongoing development of the educational process to ensure sustainable, effective, and distinguished performance.

The College Development and Quality Agency strives to build an integrated quality system to monitor, measure, record, and track all achievements of the college’s programs in an organized and institutional manner through its committees and affiliated units. It also seeks to establish sustainable community relations and partnerships in line with the vision and mission of the college and the university.

It is worth noting that one of the most important tasks of the College Development and Quality Agency is to promote and strengthen the culture of quality academically, scientifically, and administratively among the college’s staff, and to build bridges of integration with the community, positively reflecting on the quality of programs and improving outcomes.

Agency Tasks

Development Aspect

  • Planning for developmental and operational needs and continuous improvement following periodic evaluation processes for all activities conducted by the college committees.

  • Supervising the preparation of developmental and operational plans for the college and its scientific and laboratory environment, and monitoring their implementation.

  • Studying the challenges facing the college’s development and quality programs and proposing appropriate solutions.

  • Identifying the training needs of faculty members in the college’s academic departments and coordinating with the relevant authorities.

Quality Aspect

  • Establishing a culture of quality academically, administratively, and in research; promoting its values; enhancing the efficiency of its systems; and monitoring the application of its mechanisms to ensure sustainable impact and improved outcomes in academic and administrative fields.

  • Monitoring the achievement of the college’s programs in meeting academic accreditation requirements.

  • Supervising the preparation of the college’s annual report.

  • Encouraging faculty members to participate in programs offered by the Deanship of Quality and the Deanship of Development.
