The Department of Biology at the College of Science has been a cornerstone of academic excellence and scientific research since the establishment of the College. As one of its principal academic departments, it plays a vital role in advancing the College's mission in education and research.
In the academic year 1448 AH (2026 CE), the Department welcomed the first cohort of students to the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences program. This program is designed to address contemporary environmental challenges through a multidisciplinary curriculum focusing on environmental legislation and regulation, environmental monitoring and compliance, environmental economics, and sustainability.
The Department is committed to fostering a stimulating academic environment that promotes quality, innovation, and excellence.
