About the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies

In line with the Islamic University’s commitment to strengthening its societal role at both the local and global levels, and in response to the growing need for its scientific, research, and consulting expertise, the University established the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies pursuant to the Higher Education Council Resolution No. (15/6/1431) dated 26/10/1431 AH.

To enhance the institute’s standing, and based on the decision of the Council of University Affairs, No. (1/7/46) dated 7/12/1446 AH, which stipulated amending the regulations governing financial affairs in universities, the institute today represents one of the vital entities in the university as an independent deanship.

The institute seeks to connect the university and its diverse resources financial, human, and academic with the public and private sectors by offering its expertise in scientific research, consulting, and training. The institute relies on fostering collaboration with experienced local and international partners to develop the competencies of employees in both the public and private sectors, thereby increasing productivity and supporting sustainable development strategies, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its transformative programs.
