About The Institute of Research and Consultancy Studies

Driven by the Islamic University's commitment to strengthening its societal role both locally and globally, and in response to the pressing need for its research, scientific, and consulting expertise, the University sought to broaden its vision and enrich its mission. Leveraging its wealth of distinguished academic talent across diverse fields of knowledge, the establishment of the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies was approved by the Council of Higher Education Resolution No. (1431/6/15) dated 1431/10/26 AH.

To further enhance the Institute's standing, and based on the Council of University Affairs Resolution No. (46/7/1) dated 1446/12/7 AH, which amended the regulations governing financial affairs in universities, the Institute now represents a vital entity within the University as an independent deanship. In complete harmony with the university’s vision and mission, the institute seeks to achieve integration with the various academic and administrative units, and to harness the university’s capabilities to provide scientific and consulting studies and advanced training programs to local sectors and branches of foreign entities in the Kingdom for a fee. This directly contributes to developing the university’s own resources, enhancing its alternative revenues, and building effective strategic partnerships that support the comprehensive development process at the local and global levels.
