It is my pleasure to welcome
all visitors to the website of the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of
Science, Islamic University of Madinah. I am pleased to present to you an
overview of our department, its vision, and its academic and educational
objectives.
The Department of Chemistry is
one of the fundamental pillars of the Faculty, given the essential role of
chemical science in building knowledge, supporting scientific advancement, and
bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications that directly impact
individuals and society.
The department is committed to
providing integrated academic programs built on solid scientific foundations.
Our goal is to prepare students both scientifically and skillfully, enhancing
their abilities in analysis, systematic thinking, and organized laboratory
work. This prepares them for pursuing postgraduate studies or integrating
efficiently into the labor market. Furthermore, the department places special
emphasis on practical training by developing laboratory courses and reinforcing
commitment to safety and quality standards in education and training.
In the field of scientific
research, the department is dedicated to supporting faculty members and
students in conducting high-quality research that enriches chemical knowledge
and addresses scientific and applied issues serving the community and aligning
with sustainable development goals. We also strive to build effective
scientific partnerships with academic and research institutions, enhancing our
scientific standing and keeping pace with national trends in supporting
innovation and research.
Our ambition in the Department
of Chemistry is to provide a stimulating academic environment based on quality
and excellence, and to graduate qualified scientific cadres who combine theoretical
knowledge with practical skills, effectively serving their faith, homeland, and
community.
We pray to Allah for guidance
and success, and we welcome your communication and interest.
