To protect the university’s systems and ensure the confidentiality of information, the following guidelines must be adhered to:
Choosing Secure Passwords:
• Passwords must be strong and include a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
• It is recommended to use passwords that are different from those used for personal accounts, such as email or social media accounts.
Not Sharing Passwords:
• Sharing passwords by any means whatsoever, whether electronic, verbal, or written, is strictly prohibited.
• Disclosing passwords to any other person is prohibited, including colleagues or staff of the Deanship of Information Technology.
Changing Newly Issued Passwords:
• If you are provided with a new password by the system administrator, it must be changed immediately to ensure security.
Adhering to these instructions contributes to protecting the university’s systems and maintaining the confidentiality of information.
