Device Security
To ensure the protection of the Islamic University’s systems and digital assets, the following directives must be adhered to:
• The use of external storage media is prohibited without prior authorization from the General Department of Cybersecurity.
• Refrain from engaging in any activity that may affect the efficiency or integrity of systems, including obtaining additional privileges, without prior approval from the General Department of Cybersecurity.
• Secure the device before leaving the office, either by locking the screen or logging out, even when leaving for a short period or after the end of working hours.
• Do not leave any classified information in places that are easily accessible to unauthorized individuals.
• Do not install any external tools on computer devices without obtaining prior authorization from the General Department of Cybersecurity.
• Immediately report to the General Department of Cybersecurity any suspected activity that may harm the university’s computer devices or digital assets.
These instructions aim to enhance device security and protect information within the Islamic University.
