Q: Where is the women's campus?

Q: Where can I find my class schedule?

Q: What is the difference between deferring and withdrawing?
Deferring: This occurs before the start of the semester, according to the dates specified in the university calendar (link to university calendar). Deferring does not count towards the standard study period.
Withdrawing: This occurs after the start of the semester, according to the dates specified in the university calendar, and does count towards the study period.
Q: What is the difference between withdrawing from a course and dropping a course?
Withdrawal: Suspending studies for an entire semester.
Drop: Dropping one or more courses during the semester while continuing to study the remaining courses. Both are done through the portal and require college approval.
Q: Can I add or drop courses this semester?
All new students cannot add or drop courses. They must adhere to the schedule displayed in the academic system.
Q: Is the course in person or online?
The course is entirely in person at the student's campus.
Q: What are the class times?
The class times are shown in the class schedule.
Q: Is there a stipend for female students, and how much is it?
There is a stipend for female students. Students will be contacted during the first month of the semester regarding how to receive it.
The stipend amount is 850 riyals, from which 10 riyals will be deducted as a mandatory, non-refundable contribution to the student fund.
Q: Does a student who postpones or withdraws from a course receive a stipend during the postponement or withdrawal semester?
A: No, a student does not receive a stipend during the postponement or withdrawal semester.
Q: Is there student housing?
A: No, there is no student housing.
Q: Is there transportation for students?
A: No, there is no transportation for students.
Q: Can I transfer from one major to another after a semester or a year?
A: The general rule is that a student should continue in the major she was accepted into. However, a student may submit a transfer request after a semester or a year, subject to the conditions announced at the time and the approval of both colleges, based on available seats.
Q: Can I transfer from the Islamic University to another university?
A: Transfers are done by applying to the receiving university. If the student is accepted, she must request to withdraw from her current university due to the transfer.
Q: I am a government employee. Can I study at the university?
A: Approval from your employer is required, and employees are not entitled to a stipend.

Q: What is the Student Academic Portal, and what services does it offer?
The Student Academic Portal is the official online platform that allows you to: register for, add, and drop courses; view class schedules and exams; print academic notices and documents such as your academic transcript and student ID; track your attendance; and submit academic requests such as deferral, withdrawal, external transfer, and change of major.

Q: What happens if I miss lectures?
If your absences exceed 25% of lectures, you will be barred from taking the final exam and will receive a "Not Sick" grade. This can be lifted with an acceptable excuse approved by the college council through the Student Academic Portal.
Q: How can I check my grades, semester GPA, and cumulative GPA?
Grades can be viewed after they are recorded through the academic portal, and you can print your academic transcript at any time.
Q: What is the required GPA for graduation?
A: The cumulative GPA upon graduation must be at least 2.75 out of 5.00.
Q: Is there a medical clinic for female students?
A: Yes, the university has a medical clinic that provides free medical services to female students using their university ID number. These services include general medical examinations, lab tests, dispensing medications, and first aid. You can download the Islamic University app to book appointments.
