General Administration of Internal Audit

Achieving leadership and excellence in internal auditing to align with the university’s vision and enhance governance principles.

To foster transparency and integrity, and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the University’s administrative and financial operations by delivering independent and objective internal audit services.

The objectives of the General Directorate of Internal Audit have been defined in accordance with the Unified Regulations for Internal Audit Units issued by Council of Ministers Resolution No. (129) dated 06/04/1428 AH, as set forth below:

• Protecting public funds and assets, minimizing fraud and errors, and promptly detecting them upon occurrence.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and accounting records.
• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative and financial operations, leading to the optimal utilization of available resources.
• Ensuring compliance with the regulations, instructions, policies, and plans binding on the entity, to achieve its objectives efficiently and in an orderly manner.
• Maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of internal control systems.
