About Department

The Sustainability Office was established under the General Administration of Projects at the University as part of the organizational restructuring, pursuant to the decision of His Excellency, the University President, dated 19/06/1447 AH, reflecting the University’s commitment to promoting sustainability concepts and activating sustainable practices across various academic, administrative, and operational fields.

The Office is concerned with contributing to the institutionalization of sustainability principles within the University environment by supporting relevant initiatives and projects, enhancing the efficiency of resource utilization, and promoting institutional and community awareness. This contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and strengthening the University’s competitiveness in this field.

The Office also works to coordinate with relevant entities both within and outside the University, in a manner that supports the development of a more sustainable, efficient, and nationally aligned university system, consistent with modern global practices.

To lead the institutionalization of sustainability within the university environment and to build an effective university model that aligns with national and global directions and supports sustainable development.
