The General Directorate of Projects operates according to a system of approved policies and procedures that ensure disciplined performance and high-quality outputs, and meet the requirements of beneficiaries in accordance with international quality standards.
Implementing the infrastructure, educational facilities, service, and recreational amenities to meet the needs of university staff and visitors, in accordance with the culture of the university community and approved quality standards.
The department adopts (14) approved procedures covering the project workflow from initial study to final acceptance, most notably:
- Processing incoming transactions.
- Organizing meetings to review progress.
- Participating in preliminary and final acceptance committees.
- Submitting payment documents to contractors.
- Conducting periodic project visits.
- Proposing future projects in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Studying projects and preparing estimated budgets.
- Preparing financial reports for budget approval.
- Receiving quality-related transactions.
- Participating in specialized seminars and workshops.
- Preparing, reviewing, and auditing designs.
- Preparing designs during the implementation phase.
- Monitoring project implementation.
- Preparing studies, designs, and project documents.
