About the Center

The Deanship of Distance Education was established pursuant to Higher Education Council Decision No. 21/48/1428, dated 27/12/1428 AH, which received Royal Approval (No. 5151/MB, dated 3/7/1429 AH).

Since its inception, the Deanship has undergone significant organizational and developmental milestones: in 1445 AH, it was merged with the Deanship of Information Technology and renamed the "Deanship of Technology and E-Learning," and in 1447 AH, it underwent a restructuring that transformed it into an independent entity named the "E-Learning Center."

Leading in the provision of a smart, flexible, and innovative digital learning environment that supports educational sustainability and global competitiveness.
