The Alumni Center Plan serves three general tracks:

  1. Preparation Track for Expected Graduates.
  2. Alumni Track.
  3. Community Partnerships Track.

  1. Continuous updating of alumni data.
  2. Updating communication channels with alumni.
  3. Designing and implementing a timeline for email messages.
  4. Launching the second version of the interactive alumni platform.
  5. Hosting.
Second: Motivation.
  1. Hosting alumni for University and cultural events (conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and graduation ceremonies).
  2. Hosting alumni to perform Hajj or Umrah.
  3. Honoring alumni and highlighting their efforts around the world.
  4. Launching the fourth edition of the Pioneering Alumni Award.
  5. Holding an annual ceremony to honor alumni.
  6. Granting alumni certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts from the University.
  7. Highlighting alumni efforts through the University’s various events.
  8. Nominating distinguished alumni for local and international awards.
Third: Pioneering Graduate.
  1. Supporting the media participation of the pioneering graduate in highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation.
  2. Publishing a magazine containing information about pioneering alumni.

2 Support and Coordination for Associations and Unions of Saudi University Alumni in Their Countries
  1. Communicating with the officially established associations currently in existence.
  2. Supporting them with data and information.
  3. Benefiting from them in updating the University database.
  4. Engaging with them culturally and scientifically.
  5. Coordinating with them in organizing the University’s international scientific activities, such as alumni forums, seminars, international conferences, etc.

3 Preparing Graduates for the Labor Market First: Qualification.
  1. Training expected graduates to acquire the skills, knowledge, and capabilities that assist graduates in entering the labor market.
  2. Printing employment guidance publications.
  3. Providing opportunities for learning and acquiring new knowledge and skills related to the labor market.
  4. Introducing modern employment programs and job-search methods.
  5. Linking the database to labor market needs.
  6. Holding a Career Day to introduce graduates to labor market needs and introduce employers to the University’s outputs.
Second: Visits.
  1. Identifying suitable entities for annual visits, including authorities, scientific academies, institutions, companies, and others.
  2. Coordinating with the relevant entities to obtain approvals.
  3. Preparing and approving the required budget for the visit.
  4. Nominating distinguished students from among the expected graduates.

  1. Identifying entities concerned with employment locally and internationally.
  2. Marketing the University’s outputs and academic specializations.
  3. Establishing partnerships with employers.
  4. Enabling alumni and expected graduates to benefit from available employment opportunities.
  5. Instilling a culture of volunteer work among alumni.

5 External Forums
  1. Submitting a proposal to hold a forum to the Royal Court.
  2. Forming a supervisory committee chaired by the President of the Islamic University.
  3. Corresponding with the relevant entities, locally and internationally.
  4. Coordinating and communicating with guests.
Alumni
6 Measuring the Impact of University Alumni in Their Countries
  1. Directing postgraduate students in some of the University’s academic departments, such as the Department of Education and the Department of Da‘wah and Islamic Culture, to focus their theses on measuring the impact of graduates in their countries.
  2. Directing the Deanship of Scientific Research to offer funded research opportunities for conducting these field studies.
  3. Coordinating with alumni associations to present joint research covering this area.
  4. Coordinating with universities where Islamic University graduates work to conduct joint international field research to measure the impact of alumni and assess and evaluate their efforts.
  5. Commissioning pioneering alumni to conduct scientific studies in their countries to measure the impact of alumni.
  6. Coordinating with the University’s research chairs to include this track in their funded research.
