Strategic Goals of the Center:
- Promoting the concept of sustainable development by introducing the Center's activities and raising awareness of sustainable development among University affiliates.
- Supporting national initiatives and projects, particularly Saudi Vision 2030, through high-impact scientific research in sustainable development.
- Activating collaboration, partnerships, and agreements between the Center and both the public and private sectors within the scope of its research activities.
- Overseeing the proposal and development of integrated research plans in line with the University's objectives and policies and monitoring their implementation following approval.
- Leveraging the University's resources and contributing to the achievement of its developmental objectives.
- Providing consultations, technical support, and practical solutions to all sectors of society in the field of sustainable development.
- Organizing activities and events in sustainable development, including lectures, seminars, training courses, workshops, and pursuing the organization of an international conference on sustainable development.

Center Duties
- Reviewing and approving proposed work plans for research units in accordance with the Center's established procedures.
- Providing administrative oversight of research units and ensuring the necessary support for their activities.
- Securing the required support for accredited research units.
- Monitoring and documenting achievement reports of research units according to their approved plans.
- Preparing annual reports for the Center's administration, including recommendations and proposals.
- Reviewing requests for scientific consultations and training services submitted to the research units.
