Article Thirty-Four of the Higher Education and Universities Council Regulations stipulates the following:
The College Council is responsible for considering matters related to the college, and in particular:
Proposing or amending study plans in coordination with the departments.
Proposing curricula, textbooks, and reference materials for the college departments.
Encouraging and coordinating scientific research among the college departments and working to publish it.
Proposing examination dates and establishing the regulations for conducting them.
Proposing the college's internal regulations.
Proposing training and scholarship plans for the college.
Proposing the college's extracurricular activity plan.
Deciding on student matters within its jurisdiction and making recommendations to the University Council on other matters.
Considering matters referred to it by the University Council, its president, or its vice president for study and providing its opinion.
