Dean's Message

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family and companions;

Da'wah (The call to Allah) is one of the best and most honorable acts of worship. the merits of Da'awa are highlighted in several Quranic verses and prophet's sayings. The Almighty Allah said: " And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says: 'Indeed, I am of the Muslims'". Da'wah wouldn't be effective except with knowledge and wisdom and the mastery of Deen, as the Almighty said: "Say this is my way;  I invite  to Allah with insight , I and those who follow me".  Also, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in an authentic hadeeth, " whoever guides towards goodness, he will equally be given the rewards of its doer". It is narrated by Muslim.

It's for this end, the College of Aqidah and Da'wa was established and it is one of the main Colleges of the Islamic University. This program started on 1st Rajab, 1386 AH with its mission of upholding the right Aqidah of monotheism and partaking in Da'wah works with knowledge and wisdom;  explaining the biography of the Prophet and the history of Muslim Ummah and learning lessons therefrom; clarifying the foundations of Islamic Education, and better approaches to implementing it;  and working hard to spread the culture of scientific research; encouraging the best scientific researches that serve the Muslim community, and grooming of specialists in these important fields with the aim of spreading Islam, and serving the Local and international community in accordance with the principles of moderation and steadfastness.

The programs of the college vary from Bachelor's degree, higher diploma, master's degree to doctorate degree, with the aim of serving students from the Islamic world who came to acquire knowledge in the city of the Messenger of Allah( peace be upon him), under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince In their efforts and their service to Islam and Muslims.

Through the website of the College on the portal of the Islamic University, we take the opportunity to introduce our College, its role and its various programs of study, and the faculty members of the college, and we welcome our students and visitors to this site.

I ask God to help me and the staff of this college to make those who assigned us for this work proud. He is the guardian of that and capable of doing it, and may the peace be upon his Messenger, his family and his companions.
