The Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs at the Islamic University was established pursuant to Higher Education Council Resolution No. (16/66/1432), issued during its sixty-sixth session on 20/10/1432 AH. This resolution was ratified by their Approval No. 54727 on 18/12/1432 AH.

With deep gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings and then inspired by the limitless support of our Leadership and the wise guidance of His Excellency the IU President, we proceed with unyielding determination to achieve global leadership within our educational environment. Our objective is to cultivate a promising generation through high-quality academic programs, ensuring that our outcomes align seamlessly with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
Driven by our responsibility to advance academic operations, we have initiated a holistic strategy to revolutionize our academic landscape. This spans the entire student lifecycle, beginning with the governance of academic procedures—including admissions, registration, coursework, and examinations—and extends to holistic student services, such as curricular and extracurricular activities, psychological and behavioral care, and support for international students. Furthermore, it encompasses the rigorous assessment of learning outcomes and the monitoring of academic program performance.
The Vice Presidency is currently deploying cutting-edge technologies to automate academic services. We are actively enhancing our quality assurance systems, e-learning capabilities, and smart classrooms. Additionally, we are establishing data-driven digital systems to support decision-making, increase operational efficiency, and improve the overall experience for both university staff and students.
