1. Introduction
The Islamic University has given e-participation the highest priority, as it allows beneficiaries the freedom to express themselves, submit suggestions, and share opinions on topics that fall within the University's mission and responsibilities. The University also guarantees the privacy of beneficiaries' information.
The University monitors and reviews all submissions before publication, in compliance with the relevant official regulations, and in line with its commitment to elevating the level of dialogue, while ensuring full freedom of participation and providing an opportunity for everyone to convey their voices to officials.
The Islamic University reserves the full right to publish or remove any content it deems in conflict with its policies or with the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regarding interaction and participation through its official channels, without any obligation to do so. The University — whether through its employees or representatives — bears no legal responsibility for any consequences arising from the publication of comments or remarks via its electronic channels.
2. Purpose
To ensure that beneficiaries are part of the decision-making process, and out of the Islamic University's belief in the importance of listening to the opinions and ideas of its staff and beneficiaries that serve all projects and initiatives adopted by the University now and in the future, the University offers visitors to its website and social media accounts the opportunity to share their best suggestions, information, and constructive opinions aimed at enhancing work efficiency and service quality.
Terms and Conditions of E-Participation
- Participation must comply with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Submissions must be made seriously, objectively, and concisely.
- Refrain entirely from publishing personal data, such as names, contact details, and addresses.
- Submissions must be written in clear and understandable language.
- Refrain from misusing the University's systems in any way that negatively affects their performance, response speed, or continuity.
- Refrain entirely from writing any offensive or immoral statements, or any content that undermines religious or national principles.
3. Objectives of E-Participation
- Promoting the concept of transparency regarding information that matters to beneficiaries, through surveys, blogs, polls, and the publication of the results of these channels.
- Providing a number of e-participation channels and facilitating their use by offering direct links and comprehensive descriptions for each.
- Enhancing the role of beneficiaries to encourage greater interaction and participation in decision-making and in improving and raising the quality of government services.
4. Stages of E-Participation in Decision-Making
Stage One: Presenting the Topic
The Islamic University publishes the topics it presents to the target audience or the general public, and invites e-participation in decision-making through:
- The University's official website.
- The University's official social media accounts (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram).
- Media outlets.
Stage Two: Collecting E-Participation Submissions
- When a topic is presented, beneficiaries may share their opinions in accordance with the terms and conditions stated above.
- Once the specified participation period ends, the University closes participation on that topic.
Stage Three: Analyzing Submissions
At this stage, submissions are sorted and analyzed, and the relevant ones are used in decision-making and policy formulation.
Stage Four: Announcing the Decision
At this stage, the action taken is announced on the topic's page, along with appropriate responses to the most notable submissions, whenever possible.
