The MicroX Short University Programs Initiative is one of the initiatives under the Human Capability Development Program, implemented by the National eLearning Center. The initiative aims to equip learners with skills that align with the rapidly evolving demands of the labor market.
What Are Short University Programs?
Short University Programs are e-learning programs consisting of at least two courses, with a minimum of 3 credit hours and a maximum of 23 credit hours. These programs provide a focused learning experience designed to develop specific skills and competencies through assessment-based learning.
Upon successful completion, learners receive recognized credentials that are acknowledged by academic institutions and employers. These credentials are stackable, allowing learners to accumulate them toward higher academic qualifications.
Initiative Objectives:
The initiative aims to launch 350 short university programs in partnership with universities and employers across specialized sectors over a four-year period. Through these programs, learners can acquire in-demand skills, enhance their employability, and pursue flexible pathways for lifelong learning and professional development.
