To become a leading center in Artificial Intelligence research and its applications at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to promote technical progress and Artificial Intelligence solutions in accordance with ethical standards that serve humanity by leveraging Islamic knowledge and the Arabic language at the University and the status of Medina as the religious capital and center for millions of visitors from different parts of the world.

Developing Artificial Intelligence research, and enhancing innovation and smart applications in accordance with ethical controls compatible with Islamic values. We also aim to attract global researchers and improve the level of researchers and developers at the University in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The Center also aims to activate global cooperation, and cooperate with the local community to solve various societal challenges using Artificial Intelligence so that the solutions are ethical, compatible with Islamic Sharia, and reliable.

• Increase research output related to Artificial Intelligence and its impact at the University.

• Expand horizons of local and international research cooperation in various fields of Artificial Intelligence.

• Develop solutions and products with Artificial Intelligence to face societal challenges in Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world and other countries.

• Diversify funding sources to support research and development activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence at the University.
