• A mathematics graduate can work in many jobs: (Statistics Researcher - Economics Researcher - Computer Programmer - Computer Methods Analyst), in addition to the following establishments and institutions:

• The Banking Institute of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Establishment.

• Computer centers in different ministries and agencies.

• The information and communications sectors in the Ministry of Defense and Interior.

• The National Center for Financial and Economic Information or the Under-Secretary for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Finance.

• The National Information Center of the Ministry of Interior.

• The Department of General Statistics of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.

• General Department for Economic Research and Statistics at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Establishment.

Target group

Students who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree (regular) from a Saudi academic institution or a recognized university in the field of mathematics with a cumulative grade point average of no less than (3.0 out of 5) or (2.40 out of 4).

  1. To obtain a Master's degree in Mathematics, the student must complete at least 35 credit units, including the Master's thesis. The student must submit an acceptable research thesis in their field of specialization, distributed as follows: A- 13 credit units distributed across five courses taught in the first level, B- 12 credit units distributed across four courses taught in the second level, C- 10 credit units for the Master's thesis.
  2. Number of credit hours for the Methodology course: 25 credit units. Number of credit hours for the thesis or research project: 10 credit units. Total program credit hours: 35 credit units.
