The University's Establishment:
The university was established by Royal Decree No. 11 on 25/3/1381
AH and was ratified by Royal Decree No. 21 on 16/4/1381 AH with the approval of
the Supreme Advisory Council of the University. Studies at the University began
on Sunday, 2nd of Jumada Al-Akhira in the same year.

To be a leading global Islamic beacon that
expands knowledge and influences communities through a commitment to excellence
and inclusiveness.
Mission:
To excel in knowledge production by
providing a stimulating educational and research environment that fosters
innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and community engagement.
