Alongside the celebration of World Arabic Language Day themed 'Language of Poetry and Arts, the Acting President of the Islamic University, Dr. Hassan bin Abdulmunim Al-Oufi, kicked off the seventh season of the University's Poet Award. The event was attended by notable figures including the University's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muslim bin Bakheet Al-Fuzi, the Dean of the College of Arabic Language and Humanities, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Saadi, the Dean of the Arabic Language Learning Institute, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Oufi, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Hassan Awaji. Also present were the acclaimed past winners, Shukri Al-Husni and Abdullah Kouni, adding distinction and significance to the occasion.
