Islamic University Pioneering Alumni Award
It is an annual award presented to distinguished University graduates from its establishment to the present day in various scientific and professional fields. The award aims to promote effective and positive communication between the University and its graduates while motivating them to exert efforts in developing their countries and benefiting their communities. Winners are selected based on their scientific and professional competence and excellence according to precise scientific criteria, under the supervision of specialized committees that examine nominations, evaluate works and achievements, and then select the winners.
University graduates at the bachelor’s or postgraduate level.
- Highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in disseminating and developing knowledge globally.
- Enhancing the role of University graduates by measuring their impact on their communities and their active role within them.
- Strengthening the University’s communication with graduates and benefiting from their expertise and suggestions.
- Enhancing the University’s reputation and promoting it locally and globally.
- Instilling a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the University among graduates.
- Honoring scholars and distinguished academics among the University’s graduates so that they may serve as inspiring role models for its students.
- Connecting current University students with graduates and benefiting from their experiences.
- Motivating graduates to utilize their capabilities in ways that benefit their communities and countries.
The award aims to honor one distinguished graduate annually in each of its main categories, as follows:
- Professional Achievement:
This category honors graduates who have achieved distinguished professional accomplishments, held senior positions, and received prestigious awards in the same field.
2- Entrepreneurship: This category honors entrepreneurial graduates who have established or developed projects with a tangible economic impact and contributed to promoting a culture of entrepreneurship.
3- Social Impact: This category is dedicated to honoring graduates who have made a tangible social impact through initiatives or development projects that improve quality of life and support volunteer work.
4- Scientific Impact: This category focuses on graduates with distinguished research or scientific contributions in the fields of authorship, translation, scientific publishing, or knowledge innovation.
5- Intellectual Awareness: This category honors graduates who contribute to promoting moderation and balance scientifically and socially through scientific production or awareness initiatives.
- The award nominee must be a University graduate at the bachelor’s or postgraduate level.
- At least ten years must have passed since graduation.
- The nominee must not be a University employee, including faculty members and staff.
- The nominee must not have previously received the award.
- The nominee must be of good conduct and character and free from any violations affecting integrity or values.
- The nominee must have tangible achievements in one of the award categories.
- The application must be submitted for only one award category.

This must be completed within the specified period and before the announced deadline. Nominations that do not meet the award requirements and criteria will be excluded. The file includes the following:
- Nomination form.
- Supporting documents and evidence for each criterion of the category applied for.
- The graduate’s curriculum vitae.
