Wave function, probability density, operators in quantum mechanics, commutation relations; Schrödinger equation and its applications in one, two and three dimensions, such as free particle, step potentials, potential barrier, particle in a box and the harmonic oscillator, solution of the Schrödinger equation for hydrogen and hydrogen-like atoms, the concepts of orbital angular momentum and spin angular momentum, the spin orbit interaction.
