Practical part: Preparation and chemical investigation of the composition and structure of transition metal complexes, using a variety of devices Demonstrating the chemical structure of the metal complexes and the coordinating property using the infrared and ultraviolet measurements, measurement of the magnetic susceptibility, thermal analysis, pH and electrical conductivity measurements. Practical: Selected experiments in inorganic chemistry including; syntheses and characterization of transition metal complexes. The complexes are characterized by measurements as IR., UV-vis., NMR, magnetic susceptibility, electrical conductivity and optical rotation. Also, physico-chemical experiments covering kinetics, thermodynamics of the complex formation reaction are conducted.
