Islamic University Pioneering Alumni Award

v Award Description:

It is an annual award presented to distinguished university graduates from the university’s establishment until the present day, in various scientific and professional fields. The award aims to enhance effective and positive communication between the university and its graduates while motivating them to exert efforts in developing their countries and benefiting their peoples.

The winners are selected based on their scientific and professional competence and excellence, according to precise scientific criteria, under the supervision of specialized committees that examine the nominations, evaluate the achievements, and then select the winners.

v Targeted Alumni:

University graduates, whether at the bachelor’s or postgraduate level.

v Award Objectives:

1- Highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the progress of education.
2- Maximizing the role of university graduates by measuring their impact on their communities and their active role in them.
3- Enhancing the university’s communication with its graduates.
4- Enhancing the university’s reputation and promoting it locally and globally.
5- Instilling a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the university among graduates.
6- Honoring knowledge and scholars among the university’s graduates.
7- Benefiting from the graduates’ experiences and suggestions in enhancing the university’s development process.
8- Connecting current university students with graduates and benefiting from their experiences.

v Award Targets:

The award aims to honor one distinguished graduate annually in each of its main categories, as follows:

1- Leadership Excellence and Sustainable Development Award
2- Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award
3- Social Impact Award
4- Scientific Impact Award

v Nomination Conditions:

To apply for the award, registration on the Alumni Platform is required (Click here to register on the platform)

1- The nominee for the award must be a graduate of the university, whether at the bachelor’s or postgraduate level.
2- The nominee must not be a university affiliate (faculty members and employees).
3- The nominee must not have previously received the award.
4- The nominee must be of good conduct and behavior.
5- The nominee must have tangible achievements in one of the award categories.
6- The nominee must submit the nomination file within the specified period and before the end of the announced deadline. Nominations that do not fulfill the award’s conditions and criteria will be excluded. This file includes the following:
