Lead, coordinate and support the processes of obtaining academic accreditation and ensuring comprehensive quality in all parts of the university through the following:

o   Develop a culture of commitment to improving quality.

o   Aid and support departments and administrative units at the university to implement quality improvement plans.

o   Coordinate the university’s comprehensive strategies for quality development:

o   Prepare reports on quality developments within university entities.

o   Prepare the necessary forms for use in various parts of the university.

o   Review university plans to ensure they achieve quality.

o   Supervise the formulation of the mission and objectives of the university and all its academic departments and programs.

o   Develop an institutional and programmatic strategy for quality assurance.

o   Measure the quality of academic inputs for students, faculty members, and programs, measure and evaluate university outcomes, and develop mechanisms that help in this.

o   Propose registration of scientific research that serves quality aspects.

o   Form work teams in charge of quality control at the university.

o   Prepare annual plans, set the schedule for the deanship’s work, follow up on their implementation, and prepare annual reports.

o   Supervise the institutional and programmatic self-evaluation.

o   Prepare the university to obtain institutional and programmatic academic accreditation.

o   Transfer and localize local and global expertise in the field of quality and academic accreditation.

o   Execute all the tasks required from the university by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

o   Establish regulations, instructions, and mechanisms for developing and evaluating curricula and programs to ensure their implementation and review them periodically to keep pace with developments.

o   Set admission tests for university students and analyze and develop their results to ensure the quality of students enrolled at the university.

o   Conduct periodic evaluation studies within administrative and academic facilities, then collect the results, provide recommendations, and suggest the necessary means and methods; to improve performance and the output quality of these facilities.
