Deanship of Admission and Registration

The Deanship of Admission and Registration announces the dates for registration, the commencement of study, and final exams for the summer semester of 1444 AH academic year, as follows:

Registration for the summer semester of 1444 AH academic year:

• Registration for the summer semester begins on Saturday, 12-6-1444 AH, and study for the summer semester begins on Tuesday, 12-16-1444 AH.

• Study and examinations in the summer semester are conducted in the same way as studies and examinations in the previous semester, as well as with regard to attendance and deprivation ratio.

• The administration of the College of Sharia in charge in the summer semester undertakes academic supervision of all students and courses of bachelor’s programs in theoretical colleges in the summer semester, and follows up on the progress of the educational process.

• The administration of the College of Science in charge of the summer semester undertakes academic supervision of all students and courses of bachelor’s programs in the science colleges in the summer semester, and follows up on the progress of the educational process.

 Registration procedure:

• Registration processes will be according to the approved calendar only.

• Courses will be added through the academic system only if they are available for the student according to the plan.

• A request to add or modify the registration of available courses is available through the (academic system), and if this is not possible, a request is submitted via the icon (Request to modify a study schedule for the bachelor’s level) located within (New Request) in the (Tawasul) system.

• The student may request registration for a course equivalent to the required course in the student’s plan.

• We apologize for not receiving applications for registration in the summer semester in person or outside the calendar period.

• Some students will be constrained to do the summer semester after the registration process ends.

• Registration is approved before the start of classes on Tuesday 12-16-1444 AH, and students have the right to request withdrawal from a course with an excuse until Tuesday 12-30-1444 AH.

  Number of hours available in the summer semester:

• There is no minimum registration requirement except for those whom their colleges deem it obligatory for the summer semester.

• The maximum limit for the alignment plan courses in theoretical colleges is 9 hours, and the graduate student may increase to 10 hours.

• The maximum limit for the alignment plan courses in scientific colleges is 8 hours, and the graduate student may increase it to 9 hours.

It is permissible to request registration of equivalent courses by sending a message to the deanship via the Tawasul system during the registration period.
