Definition of the unit for people with special needs:


A social unit concerned with students with special needs in terms of educating the university community about their rights, how to deal with them, helping them in various fields to adapt to themselves, integrating them into society and dealing with them like any other productive individual.


Club for people with special needs:


It is a scientific, social, and recreational club affiliated with the Special Needs Unit. It serves blind students through Braille SNIPS devices, and also provides students with special needs with various recreational and social activities.


Evening office for people with special needs:


It is an office that follows up students with special needs in the university city regarding their various health, social and housing needs from three to ten in the evening.


Tasks of the Special Needs Unit:


1- Design special personal cards for students with special needs, so that the administrator can serve them better.


2- Study each case of people with special needs separately as required by the interest, and submit a request to improve the conditions of those married to them.


3- Assisting students with special needs in completing their transaction procedures within each of the educational bodies and supporting deanships.


4- Printing some study notes for blind people with special needs in Braille.


5- Conduct periodic meetings with students with special needs in the unit to find out their conditions and the possibility of providing service to them according to the available systems and capabilities.


6- Addressing the competent authorities to facilitate services provided to people with special needs.
