College of Shariah

Founding of  college:

 On the 25^th of Rabi al-awwal 1381 AH, a Royal Decree No. (11) approaved founding College of Shariah in the same year when the university itself was founded which included in its seventh article ‘the university conists of two departments, secondary and higher education’. The higher education department was is the first nucleus of the college, which later named as  (College of Sharia). Academic Studies began on 2/6/1381 AH with 85 students, and the number of its students at present exceeds 7,500 students.
