Description of the Unit:
A unit dedicated to serving college students in the academic, familial, psychological, social, and professional domains.
Tasks of the Guidance Unit:
· Monitoring the counseling services in the college across all its domains.
· Orienting of new students before the commencement of their studies so as to adapt to the university environment and the local community.
· Proposing appropriate methods to reward outstanding students.
· Discussing and finding solutions to student problems.
· Creating a page on the college site through which it will communicate with the students of the college
· Encouraging students through various means to benefit from the services of the counseling unit and consult with counselors regarding academic and other matters.
Objectives of the Counseling Unit:
· Disseminating the culture of student counseling among students and faculty members.
· Preparing students to get acquainted with the college and adapt to university life.
· Assisting students in understanding university systems, procedures, and regulations.
· Providing specialized consultations to students.
· Enhancing the overall academic achievement of students, especially gifted and talented students.
· Addressing cases of academic difficulty.
