Student Supervision Unit:


It is a unit that seeks to create a suitable and attractive environment in student housing at the Islamic University, and to help students with what they need in all fields.


  Their tasks:


1. Conflict resolution.


2. Crisis intervention.


3. Organizing and hosting programs and events within residential units.


4. Addressing residential violations.


5. Supervising students


6. Follow up on behavioral concerns


7. Helping the student by providing keys and other things.


8. Answering questions related to housing.


9. Submit reports to the maintenance and cleaning company in order to have a clean and safe environment in which to live.


Working mechanisms:


The mechanisms of action become clear through:


1- Office of Field Supervision of Residential Units.


To carry out a daily visit to the rooms, this is done by:


A- Dividing rooms among supervisors and assistants and distributing roles among them.


B - Educating students and making them aware of violations during the visit.


C - Fill out the form designated for the visit by the supervisor and his assistant.


D - Visit the rooms in a good and decent manner.


E - Submit the forms after completion to the Violations Office to register them in the system.


And - Communicate with the Student Guidance and Issues Unit to write pledges on the letter.


G - Summoning violating students for investigation by the Student Guidance and Cases Unit for major violations.


 

    Duty office:


  Working time:


It begins working after the official working hours from 2 pm until 6 am throughout the week, in addition to the two days of the weekly holiday (Friday and Saturday).


His duties:


1- Follow up on work in the units outside the supervisors’ working time.


2- Communicating with the relevant authorities - university ambulance and university security - in case of emergency.


3. Accommodating students in hospitality rooms in necessary cases.


4. Submit a daily report on the progress of work in the office.


5. Working during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays.


 

Social Welfare Office:


The office aims to help students who suffer from some psychological, social and pathological challenges through:


1- Coordination with the Field Supervision Office to benefit the office from students who suffer from previous challenges and other misbehaviors.


2- Coordinate with advisors and set an appointment to sit with the student.


3- Submit the report on the student’s condition to the Vice Dean for Student Services.


 

Programs:


Mental Image Enhancement Program:


It is a program carried out by Student Relations in cooperation with the Student Supervision Unit by visiting students’ rooms and presenting symbolic gifts along with congratulatory cards for a happy stay in university housing.


 

Violations Program:


It is a program that enters all recorded violations into the program designated for them, prepares lists of existing violations, and refers them to the Student Guidance and Cases Office for necessary action.


 

Education program:


It is a program carried out by the Student Supervision Office in residential units through publications, brochures, text and electronic messages that inform the student of housing regulations.


 

Your Advisor Program:


It is a program that monitors student consultations at the university, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and forms executive committees to follow up on student consultations and appoint coordinators.


 

Motivation program:


It is a program that provides incentives to students and assistant supervisors to encourage and improve cooperation and performance, through:


1- Best room competition.


2- Best Report Competition.


3- Honoring supervisors and assistants who excel in their work.


      

  Field supervision program:


It is a program concerned with following up students in housing and ensuring that they adhere to housing instructions and do not violate them, while meeting their needs in providing housing supplies, through:


1. Appointing the unit supervisor with assistants to complete the supervision work as required.


2. Visit students’ rooms regularly to ensure:


A- The occupants of the rooms comply with the examination.


B- Departure of folded, graduated and deferred students.


C- Room cleanliness.


D- No cooking or cooking utensils.


E- There is no extra furniture inside the room.


3. Absences are taken daily at a rate of 40% of the unit’s students and in different roles.


4. Removal of fees for students who have been absent from housing for more than 10 consecutive days.


5. Follow up on the completion of the faults reported by the supervisor and his assistants, and report on those that have not been fixed a week after the report.


6. Follow up on cleaning workers and ensure that they are doing their work as required.


7. Follow up on security and safety systems inside and outside the rooms.


 

Program of events and activities:


The deanship holds some activities in the unit at the end of the week in coordination with the activity agency and educational authorities, so that the student’s environment on campus becomes attractive.
