Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, may the salutations and peace be upon the most honourable of the prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. To proceed:
The Deanship for Extra-curricular Activities is one of the vice deanships affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs and is concerned with the various cultural, sports and social aspects of students, and training courses. The intention of all of this is to hone the students’ skills, and to encourage and inspire them in the extracurricular activities carried out by the Deanship, for example, the cultural aspect, the sports aspect, and the excursion aspect, In addition to the courses, they are all different aspects that enhance the student’s affiliation to the deanship, and before that to the Blessed Islamic University, represented by the activity of the Vice Deanship, so it becomes a link between the student and the deanship. When he finishes the lesson, he engages in various sports, cultural, and social activities, and the intention of all of that is to pre-occupy the students’ time with what is beneficial and be of advantage to them.
The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) says: "There are two blessings in which many people incur loss: health and free time."
I would like to use this opportunity to thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, and His Excellency the Acting President of the Islamic University. Prof. Dr. Ḥasan bin ʻAbdul-Munʻim Al-ʻAwfī and His Excellency the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ḥasan bin Yaḥyá ʻAwājī for their efforts in serving the children of Muslims. We ask God Almighty to grant them the reward in this world and the hereafter and may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
